Barbara Mae Gavello

Barbara Mae Gavello, 75, of Grants Pass passed away August 3, 2014 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, OR. Contributions may be made to the Josephine County Animal Shelter, 1420 Brookside Blvd., Grants Pass, OR, phone: 1-541-474-5458. She was born on July 25, 1939 in El Centro, CA to Harold and Charlotte Fly. After graduating from Medford High School, she served in the Army as a dental assistant and later worked for Chevron until retirement. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Gavello whom she married on July 25, 1981 and lived in Concord, CA before moving to Grants Pass, OR in 1995. She enjoyed playing games on the computer, working in the garden, and spending time with her beloved pets. Survivors include her sons, Michael Graham of Pleasant Hill, CA and Timothy Gavello of Antioch, CA; daughter, Leslie Martin of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Glenn Fly of Grants Pass, OR; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 nephew. The family would like to give a sincere thank you to all of Barbara's caregivers.
