Ardith Lynette Sheppard

Ardith Lynette Sheppard, 81 of Grants Pass passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. A graveside will be held Monday, July 8, 2013, 10:30 AM at Roseburg Memorial Gardens in Roseburg, Oregon. Ardith was born on November 11, 1931 in Bozeman, Montana to Raymond and Amanda Myers. She graduated from Southern Oregon University in the early 1950's. On June 9, 1965 she married Harold Leonard Sheppard in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2000. Ardith worked for many years as a teacher at Glendale Jr. High School retiring in the early 1980's. She belonged to the Easy Gaited Horse Association and the bowling league at Showtime Family Lanes. She was a member of Glendale Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her companion, Sam White of Grants Pass, Oregon; daughter, Linda Moody of Oakridge, Oregon; grandaughter's, Alicia Erager of Eugene, Oregon, Christina Rubino of Las Vegas; great grandson's, Brenton Moody of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mason Erager of Eugene, Oregon, Paytin Erager of Eugene, Oregon and AJ Rubion of LasVegas, Nevada and numerous nieces and nephews.
