Antone George "Toney" Andrews, 57, of Grants Pass died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. No services will be held. His ashes will be spread at Diamond Lake, where his brother's ashes were previously spread. It was a favorite spot of Toney's and his family. He was born Dec. 21, 1953, in San Fernando, Calif., to George "Andy" and Lucille Andrews. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 20 years. He loved attending and participating in car shows, driving his 1930 Model A Ford, electronics, building and racing cars, hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He especially loved his pomeranian, Poki. Survivors include his companion of nine years, Cheryl Evans of Grants Pass; his father, George "Andy" Andrews of Grants Pass; a son, Aaron Andrews of San Jose, Calif.; a daughter, Sarah Delgado of Sants Clara, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Julie A. Hall of Grants Pass; two sisters, Beverly Andrade of West Virginia, and Diane Hunter of Washington state; his roommate who was like a brother, Bob Cannon of Grants Pass; two grandchildren, Jewel and Dylan; and three stepgrandchildren, Aaliyah, Griffin and Sage. A brother, Darel Andrews, a sister, Barbara Santa Cruz, and two half-brothers, Joe and Frank, died before him.
