Anthony Gatt

Anthony Paul Gatt, 85 of Grants Pass passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 27th 11:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Grants Pass with Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. He was born on February 23, 1926 in Malta to Michael and Mary Gatt. He married Josephine Mary Magro on October 26, 1958 in Orendi, Malta. He served 4 years cabinet woodworkers apprentice program in Los Angeles, most of his life as a woodworker cabinetmaker. In 1969 they moved to Grants Pass from Los Angeles, California. Anthony was a member of St. Anne Parish. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. In addition to his wife survivors include two sons, Michael and Reno Gatt of Grants Pass; brother Paul Gatt of Los Angeles, California; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
