Anna Louise Welton, 63, went to her heavenly home on July 18, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. Her memorial will be held at a date to be determined in Burleson, Texas. Ann was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 11, 1947 to Frank and Louise Dalton. Ann graduated from Tyler Lee High School in 1965. She was an accomplished competitive swimmer, winning numerous medals in the butterfly. She went on to attend Tyler Junior College and was a member of the Apache Belle Drill Team from 1965-1966. Professionally, Ann was successful and gifted, but no more so than in her tenure at Electrocom Automation where she was recognized on several occasions for Technical Excellence. Ann retired to Grants Pass, OR and was very active with her family and grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Louise Dalton, daughter, Kimery Welton, brother-in-law Joseph Welton, brother-in-law Mark Welton, and daughter-in-law Hannah Welton. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ray Welton; brother and sister-in-law Scott and Crystal Dalton of Breckenridge, TX; son Jack Welton of Carrollton, TX: son Mitch Burton of Tyler, TX; daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Frank Lewis of Prosper, TX; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Becky Welton of Burleson, TX; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Kristan Welton of Burleson, TX; daughter Kristin Welton of Grants Pass, OR; and her 11 grandchildren. She will be tremendously missed and remembered forever.
