Anita Eskitgis, 54 of Grants Pass passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center. Visitation: Friday, February 11th from 5:00-8:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 12th, 11:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Anita was born on July 27, 1956 in Somerville, Massachusetts to James and Mary Eskitgis. She worked many years as a cook in her family restaurant and for Southern Oregon Head Start. Anita loved cooking, gardening, Greek dancing, animals, spending time with family & friends she also enjoyed writing and was working on publishing some children's stories when she passed away. Survivors include her Boy Friend Stavros Konidis of Melbourne, Australia; sister, Celia Stathopoulos of Grants Pass and brothers Mark Eskitgis, Nicholas Boges and Mathew Boges all of Grants Pass; numerous nieces and nephews.
