Alan Leroy Yerrick, 63 of Grants Pass passed away, August 26, 2012 at his home. Services will be held with Military Honors on Friday, 3:00 PM at Eagle Point National Cemetery. He was born on February 12, 1949 in Dos Palos, California to Leroy and Dena Yerrick. Alan graduated from Dos Palos High School and DeVry University where he received his Associates Degree. He served in the United States Army from May 8th, 1968 until his honorable Discharge on December 10, 1969. During his time in the service he served in the Hobo Woods in Vietnam. In 1977 he moved to Oregon from Los Banos, California. He worked for Miller Redwood and owned and operated his own house painting business. Alan enjoyed crossword puzzles, woodworking, reading, movies, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include three daughters, Kasey Yerrick, Heather Yerrick and Amber Kremer all of Grants Pass; sister Diane Gauper of Los Banos, CA; brother Marty Yerrick of Atwater, CA and Eight Grandchildren.
