Adeline Pearl Shelly, 93, died peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2020, surrounded by her daughter and son-in-law at Kinsinton Memory Care.
Born in Sellersville, Pennsylvania January 12, 1927 to Irwin Weidemoyer and Grace Weaver, she worked in the defense plant during WW2. She moved to California in the early 60's. She became a cook for the Laguna Salada School District for many years and was well loved by many students who remember her fondly. She was a long-time member of the Women Of The Moose and a devoted 49er's fan. She loved bowling and belonged to many leagues in her time. She had a very infectious laugh that brought joy to everyone she came in contact with.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Harry Warren Shelly, and son, Steven Leslie Getz. She is survived by her daughter Connie Logan, son-in-law Troy Logan, 2 grandchildren: Clinton Logan and Tarah Lawson, 5 great grandchildren: Ayden, Dallas, Coen, Robin and Corbyn, and her significant other, Dennis (Gene) Bayard.
Arrangements by Stephens Family Chapel.
Special thanks to the staff at Kinsington @Redwood Park for their compassionate care they provided for her. She will be fondly missed but her laugh will always be in spirit.
